Odyssey

In the first few books this is what I think has happened:

Athena travels to Ithaca to speak with Telamachus, the son of Odysseus.. She tells him that she believes that Odysseus is not dead and will return to Ithaca soon. She advises him to go to Sparta and Pylos to find out anything about his father. Athena then tells Telemachus to banish the suitors form his estate.
In the next book, Aegyptius acknowledges for following his father's footsteps then gives a speech in which he talks about his father's loss, his father's home and how the suitors have overtaken them. One of Pebelope's suitors states that she will commit to none of them. She stated that she will coose one person, after she weaves the burial shroud for her father. However, she knits it in the morning, and undoes it every night.
